Time for a cold one.

Got any big plans for the weekend? I’m playing three performances of Annie this weekend. It’s a pretty good show, but damn, those tunes get stuck in your head. If you look up the original cast recording of Annie on YouTube, you can hear my former trumpet teacher , Ray Crisara, playing lead. Mr. Crisara was the No. 1 studio call in NYC for 40 years.

Booked today off since I was owed a day, so now I have a four day weekend. I’m “working” tomorrow for two hours, which means I get to go boating. Other than that, lawn work and cleaning since being in a slump has led to my place becoming a mess.

I have started assembly of the pedal car, so I probably will finish that up. There are a couple of piece fit issues that will require work and some fine details to be done.

1.5 hr trip to pick up some good tires cheap tomorrow morning, followed by a bday party in the afternoon, which will probably lead to hanging out there for the night.

Then likely take care of yard work I slacked on this week, get groceries, swing in and look at the four 1st gen vans I was cued in on , and sit around on Sunday ( which actually means get home from groceries and go do the body work I’ve also been slacking on because I can’t actually sit around ).

Sunday: removing furniture in preparation for new furniture being delivered on Wednesday.

I’d be interested to hear what you think of LK. I’m not sure I feel the need to see it. Might be weird seeing “real” animals talk.

Until the swelling goes down I suppose. I was able to take my bandages off for the first time today and noticed it was still pretty swollen. I’ve not been doing a great job of it if I’m honest.
